One building, three spaces, one shared vision.

The Hive consists of three interconnected spaces within one building – 

Abergele District Foodbank, Abergele Community Shop and Abergele Beehive.

Abergele Community Shop provides dignified access to deeply discounted food and essentials. It distributes surplus food donated by retailers like M&S and purchased from charities like Felix (formerly known as FaresShare). This ensures that no product needlessly goes to waste, while simultaneously providing a sustainable support model in Abergele.

Abergele District Foodbank works together Trussell to ensure no-one in the UK needs a food bank, while providing emergency support for people left without enough money to live on.

To complete the interconnected spaces, Abergele Beehive is a warm hub, which includes a community kitchen that encourages connection through shared food experiences. Abergele Beehive also delivers life-changing holistic support programmes through our referral partner drop-ins.
